About

Alexandra Rachel Sullivan is an interdisciplinary artist, New York City native, and eternal flâneuse. She received a BFA in Studio Art and a BA in Women’s Studies from Penn State, and an MFA in Art Practice from the School of Visual Arts.

Through a corporeal lens, her work explores the porous borders of identity. Past performances have included boundary disrupting interactions using touch, varying levels of sensory deprivation or distortion, conversation, audio, objects, and video.

She currently lives in Brooklyn, operating machine intelligences for fun and profit.
